JD Looking Glass: Warm Each Looking Glass Set includes presets for BOTH Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw, as well as actions for use within Photoshop Creative Cloud, allowing users to use a variety of application programs. Because each of these programs function differently, some presets/actions may be found in slightly different areas. Please see the list below.

All tones and toolkit adjustments are consistent from application program to program (for example, the tones and contrast in “Antique” look the same in LR, ACR and Photoshop CC). Please note, these actions will only work in Photoshop CC if you first install the ACR presets. There are 21 different presets in each pack (well, technically, 22 in Backlight) and they work differently.

Backlight is “stronger” in balancing the exposure for backlight work with underexposure on the skin tones to retain detail (which is how I tend to shoot backlight), Warm has warm tones, Cool has different cool tones. There is ZERO duplication in those 21 presets from pack to pack. Each set ALSO includes a toolkit of different preset adjustments (contrast changes, vignettes, reducing noise, etc). Now, the BONUS TOOLKITS are the exact same from pack to pack and work with all the sets to help you customize your image or add details, if you so choose. They basically allow you to have same tones with different “finishing” looks. Then, unlike some vendors, I don’t make you re-purchase the same presets for different application programs.

So if you like to use LR on some stuff but PS CC on others, you have that option with these, you need not repurchase. So many are using CC now and a lot of us like to flow between the 3 programs — or may want to have that flexibility in the future — so I’m including multiple ways to use the same presets. This happens because you are browsing the root level Library of Mac OS, not the User Library (which is the one you need). /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings On newer Macs the User Library is hidden by default; an easy way to get there is to click on your desktop, then click on the Go menu, hold down the Option key and click on Library. Another option is to click on your Name in the Finder Sidebar under Favorites, click on the View menu, click Show View Options and then check Show Library Folder (this way you’ll always be able to see your User Library in Finder) To see your User Name in the Finder Sidebar, click on your desktop, click on the Finder menu, click on Preferences and under SidebarFavorites, check your User Name. We assure you our products contain no virus, spyware or malware of any kind. Thus said, if your antivirus or firewall is suggesting the.zip folder might be a risky download (we are aware of a false positive generated by McAfee Antivirus, for instance), simply click “accept the risk” (or similar) to go past this protection.

Only in case this step is not enough, try disabling your firewall/antivirus for 5/10 minutes, an amount of time which (depending on your internet connection) should be sufficient to download your products.
